Airspace display instability when ‘Areas’ layer is
disabled in PSD
Number 06/2026/B
Issued on 19/06/2026
Valid until UFN
Issued by LARA Team
Description: An issue has been identified in LARA V4 and V5 affecting the stability of airspace visualisation on the PSD map under specific conditions. The issue occurs when:
1. The ‘Areas’ layer is disabled in the PSD map settings toolbox
2. Airspace is in a ‘released’ state
3. The user hovers over booking slots for the released airspace or over the airspace button in the Gantt chart
Under these circumstances, the corresponding airspace on the PSD map may flicker and potentially disappear temporarily. With the ‘Areas’ layer enabled, this issue does not occur.
Operational Impact:
• Reduced reliability of airspace visualisation on the PSD map
• Potential confusion for users when monitoring released airspace
• Risk of misinterpretation of the current airspace situation
Mitigation/Recommended Operational Procedure:
Ensure that the ‘Areas’ layer remains enabled in the PSD map settings during operations.
Resolution:
This issue will be resolved in LARA V5.0.5.15. – the option to disable the ‘Areas’ layer will be removed from the PSD settings toolbox to align with the ASD configuration.
